Singaporeans will soon need ETA permit to visit Thailand
The proposed ETA – which is expected to be free of charge – is mandatory for citizens of 93 countries who currently enjoy visa-free travel to Thailand for stays of up to 60 days for the purpose of tourism.
Singaporeans will need ETA permit to enter the UK from Jan 8, 2025
Application for the digital travel permit costs £10 (S$17). Singaporeans can apply for it from Nov 27 via the official British government website or app.
The ETA – which will be digitally linked to an individual’s passport – is valid for two years, allowing multiple short visits lasting up to six months per visit.
New Zealand entry fee to rise nearly 3 times for international tourists

All foreign travelers must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within three days prior to arrival.
The following travellers are exempted from the MDAC requirement:

Vehicle entry permits mandatory for Singapore vehicles entering Malaysia from Oct 1
Vehicles will be fitted with a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag that costs RM10 (S$2.90). The tags will be sent to vehicle owners for installation, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
